Ichariba Choodee Podcast

I was on a podcast panel about hajichi, traditional Ryukyuan tattoo, with Co Lewis, Hilson Reidpath, and Mariko. Topics ranged from historical and literature perspective to adapting hajichi to contemporary needs to the future of hajichi. Shimanchu nu Kwii's inaugural issue "Honoring Our Ancestors" available now in PDF (suggested $5 donation) and print ($15+worldwide shipping).

Languages used are predominantly English but includes Uchinaaguchi, Portuguese, and Japanese. PDF includes image captions for screen reader accessibility.

Not only did I have the honor of being part of the editorial team, but I have a calligraphy piece in there as well.
